[Korea] ‘The Designers Hotel' in Hongdae is Now Open

A new boutique hotel ‘The Designers Hotel Hongdae’, located at Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, opened its doors to the public on February 1st, 2013.

The Designers Hotel, which has 16 floors, a lobby and a basement floor, consists of 80 guestrooms, an all-day brunch restaurant, and a lounge bar. Conceptualized with the idea of ‘Hongdae in between New York and London’, the hotel offers a combination of urban chic and modern vibe with its contemporary interior design.

All 80 guestrooms are uniqulely designed and among them, 28 are suites. That means 1 out of 3 of its guestrooms are suites which consists of three types – royal suite, suite and semi-suite. There are also two types of views to choose from – city view and river view. The city view lets in natural light during the day and offers a glamorous view of the cityscape during the night while the river view offers a spectacular view of Yeoui-do and Hangang River.

The hotel offers its guests a free flight ticketing service, train or performance booking services, and a transfer service to the airport. Moreover, it provides a diverse variety of tourist programs for guests to choose from according to their preferences. Membership offerings are also available where members get exclusive services and privileges.
