[Korea culture] Gwangju Holds an Urban Art Project

The Asian Arts Theater Residency will host an art project that explores the past, present,
and future of the city of Gwangju.

The “City Crossing Project, Gwangju” will be held from February 19th to the 24th across Gwangju,
and will present performances and exhibitions by the winning teams of a local art competition.
All performances are site-specific*, meaning that they reflect the characteristics of the venues,
and require the audience to follow the performers.

The art project is open to the public free of charge.

* Site-Specific Theater: A performance produced based on the characteristics of venues.
The audience moves around, following the performers.
